Blue collar/White collar, The Globe and Mail

labour_day.gif

In honour of labour day, this illustration accompanied a nice little essay about the difference between white and blue collar work by Hamilton Ontario native Matt Terry in The Globe and Mail. Whether the creative class will replace the working class in a city that is increasingly post-industrial, is a pre-occupation of many Hamiltonians at the moment. For this reason, Terry's story had particular resonance for me. Thanks to Art Director Cinders McLeod. If you want to see an enlarged version of this illustration, take this link.
